![]() Can you imagine the backlash if Trixie gets cut early? Anyway, it felt like the judging panel was watching an entirely different show. Patrick: As long as they don’t do her dirty like they did Thorgy. I wonder why that is? Saving up her plot line maybe? It is confusing. Joe: Yeah she gets a lot of confessionals, but less airtime on the runway. Patrick: I forgot about Trixie’s (I loved it too!), but that brings me to another point: they’re really downplaying her, aren’t they? She’s the biggest star in this cast - hell, she has her own Funko doll - but they’re not giving her a ton of camera time. I did love Kennedy’s reveal, Trixie’s outfit was an incredible pink nightmare, and I loved Aja’s although I wish she would just ditch that red wig color, period. Joe: Yeah I didn’t get the love for BeBe’s outfit or Shangie’s, obviously a Christmas look will be tacky but I thought others had better looks (although she 100 percent nailed that lip sync). ![]() Trixie Mattel of 'RuPaul's Drag Race' Talks Kellyanne Conway, Jason Mraz & More: Watch And what was with all the love for BeBe’s runway? They were comparing her to Miranda Priestly but it looked like if Payless Shoes sold clothes. ![]() I wasn’t blown away by any of the glow-ups, but Thorgy’s Alien-esque look was one of my favorites (are you seeing a trend?). ![]() I hope she bounces back because I think her aesthetic is fun and unpredictable. And that sour attitude - this ep made me nervous that I may become lactose intolerant. When you looked at the entire group, visually, she was the only one that was unrecognizable. There was nothing about that look or performance that stood out as Celine. Patrick: Well we’re certainly entitled to our opinions. Joe: Okay, maybe not won but she was really working it during Divas and I luvvvved that blue dress. Milk was really working it, I feel with a more iconic Celine look she might have won? Also I loved her redo look! Any do-over outfits stand out to you? Joe: YES, the LaBelle was a knockout, one of the strongest - also it was great because even if you’ve never heard of Patti LaBelle, it was funny. So who stood out to you in the Divas Live segment? I really thought Chi Chi as Patti LaBelle was a lot of fun, with those hand flicks and that wig. Patrick: Between Thorgy and Morgan, it has been incredibly obvious. Also, and I know you can’t make a show specifically directed at fans (there’s a wider public to think about) but the edits TOTALLY give away who’s going home, they need to do a fake-out more often so you don’t know ‘oh, this person is going home because they’re getting a f-load of dramatic screen time.’ Joe: Yes, extremely sad (as a fan, but more so as a viewer of the show) to see Thorgy go so fast. And you just know she would have murdered the Mariah or Julie roles. Sure, she could have brought out a smoke bomb or something to play up the “witch” factor, but her impersonation was solid. I was actually flabbergasted that she was even in the bottom because I think she did well with what she was given. Patrick: Oh, absolutely! I’m totally in Thorgy’s tin foil hat gang: she was not set up for greatness. Like the winners clearly got the meatier roles: Doing Mariah not giving a fuck on NYE and Julie Andrews rapping are inherently a lot funnier than some half-baked Celine/Stevie parody tune. Joe: So speaking of Divas, I have to say the challenge seemed a little unfair. 'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars' Season 3 Premiere Recap: The Games Begin
